The Scripts β
1Click Maker comes with three main scripts and a set of add-ons. You only ever drag them into an object's Content tab; you never edit them.
Where to find them β
1Click Maker is delivered in an unpacker. Wear it (or rez it on the ground), press UNPACK and accept every offer. Everything arrives in your inventory under Hi Enjoy! βΊ 1Click Maker βΊ vversion - date and time (for example v1.2.4 - 2026-10-01 14:05:31, in Second Life time):
| Folder | What is inside |
|---|---|
| Scripts | The main scripts: *BUILD, *FUNCTIONS, *TARGETS |
| Add-ons | The [add-on] - β¦ - 1Click scripts |
| Color Picker | Color Picker V2 Black and V2 White |
| Tutorials | Notecards and the tutorial HUDs |
| Store | Landmark to the Hi Enjoy! store |
Each folder is a separate offer. If one did not arrive, press RESEND on the unpacker; press I ACCEPTED ALL when you have them all. Every unpack creates a new folder with the date and time, so an older delivery is never mixed with the new one.
Main scripts β
*BUILD development only β
The bridge between your HUD and the creation panel.
- Prints the project link in chat when dropped into a new object.
- Receives everything you Build from the panel.
- Answers the panel's scans (buttons, assets, targets).
- Opens the NEW / CLONE / EDIT menu when you hold your click on the object.
- Removes itself when you press Finish.
It only works while the object is rezzed on the ground.
*FUNCTIONS always required β
The engine. It stores the built project and runs every action when a button is clicked or an event fires. It stays inside the finished product forever. Without it, nothing happens.
*TARGETS one per controlled object β
Goes inside every object you want to control from a HUD (clothing, furniture, accessories). It listens to the HUD on a private channel and applies the commands: textures, colors, rotation, and so on. Details in Targets.
Add-ons β
Add-ons unlock specific features. Drop each one into the object that will run the feature: usually the HUD, but for some actions the target itself.
| Add-on script | Needed for | Where to drop it |
|---|---|---|
[add-on] - Events - 1Click | Any event (attach, walk, run, water, receive commandβ¦) | The object whose events you registered (HUD or item) |
[add-on] - PBR Manager - 1Click | PBR Custom, Material PBR, PBR On/Off, PBR Alpha Mode | Every target that receives PBR actions (and the HUD, if it targets itself) |
[add-on] - Timers - 1Click | The Timer action | The object running the function that contains the timer |
[add-on] - Resizer - 1Click | The Resizer action | The object being resized: the target, or the HUD itself |
[add-on] - Conditions & Variables - 1Click | Condition and Change Variable actions | The object running the logic (usually the HUD) |
[add-on] - UI Buttons - 1Click | UI Mode buttons | The HUD |
[add-on] - Color Picker V2 - 1Click | The Color Picker objects | Inside the Color Picker object (it ships with it) |
[add-on] - Give Items - 1Click | The Give Items action | The HUD (the object holding the items) |
[add-on] - DEMO - 1Click | A trial that expires after a set time (works on its own, no project needed) | The demo item |
Missing add-on
Without its add-on, a feature simply does nothing in-world. Some missing add-ons print a warning in chat, like ATTENTION: This project needs the '[add-on] - Events - 1Click' script in the CONTENT tab of this object. (events, Give Items, Resizer, PBR on a target, variables during Build), but Conditions and Timers stay silent. When something does nothing, check this table first. Drop the missing script in and press Build once more so everything starts in the right order.
Why add-ons instead of one big script?
Second Life scripts have a hard 64 KB memory limit. The core scripts already use most of it. Splitting rarely-used features into add-ons keeps the main scripts stable and your HUD light: you only pay for what you use.
