Gacha Overview PRO

The most common complaint about gacha in Second Life: "this machine is rigged and nobody tells you the odds." Fasty gacha machines show the odds of every item and prove every single play. Neither you nor Fasty can choose the result.

How a play works

  1. The player pays the machine. The machine records the play and asks the server for the result right away.

  2. The server draws. It uses a secret that was locked in before the play, mixed with the machine, the play number, the player and the odds table. Nobody can steer it.

  3. The machine animates (the crank turns, the capsule drops) and stops on the prize.

  4. The hub delivers the prize, exactly like a sale. The player gets the item and a link to the proof of their play in chat.

Each play is a sale in your panel: same delivery, same receipt, same stats. It shows up in Sales with a Gacha badge, and you can get an IM for each play. One difference: a play can't be refunded, and a prize that was delivered is never sent again, because a provable draw can't be undone.

What makes Fasty gacha different

Provably fair Every play has a public proof that the player can check in their own browser.

Real odds, explained The odds of each item are always public. Weights are easy to set, with a live preview.

Pity and tokens Reward players who keep playing, without making the machine predictable to people watching.

A public machine page Odds, a wall of rare prizes or the full history: you choose what to show.

The pieces

PieceWhat it is
CollectionThe list of prizes, their rarity and weight, and the price per play. Made in the panel. Several machines can share one collection.
MachineAny object with the Fasty Gacha script in the root prim. It takes payments and runs the play.
Style (effect script)The animation. Fasty ships the Capsule Machine ready to use, and anyone can make their own.
HubDelivers the prizes. Prizes are normal products from your hub. They don't need to be on sale at a vendor.

When the server is down

A paid play is never lost. The machine tells the player the play is saved, and as soon as the server is back the play is drawn (with its proof) and the prize is delivered. The machine never draws on its own: a play without proof would break the promise.
