FAQ
Is it really free?
Yes. Basic is free forever, with no commission: unlimited vendors, products, sales and deliveries, redelivery (also from a terminal in your store), receipts, gifts, free products, profit sharing, timed sales, the SL group discount, backup hubs, variation groups, product updates and Marketplace sales. Fasty Pro is optional: L$ 4,999 a year or L$ 14,999 forever.
How do I get an account?
Sign in with your Second Life username and a password you choose; the sign-up link arrives by IM. While Fasty is in early access, you need an invite link from someone who already uses it. See Your Account.
How many vendors can I have?
As many as you want. Each vendor runs one light script and doesn't hold any product.
Can a vendor sell more than one product?
No: one vendor sells one product. Use one vendor per product (copies are quick: a copied vendor keeps its product). Variations are easy to manage with groups.
Do I need a backup hub?
You don't have to, but you should. A second hub in another region keeps your store delivering when a region restarts or goes down.
Why does the vendor need debit permission?
To pay your partners' profit shares. It never accepts a free payment order: it only pays a percentage of a sale it recorded, never more than the sale. See Setting Up a Vendor.
What happens if Fasty's server goes down?
Your store keeps selling. Vendors deliver through your hubs directly, and the server catches up when it is back. See Delivery You Can Trust.
Can customers get their item again?
Yes. Every customer gets a receipt link with Resend to my inventory, and a redelivery terminal in your store gives them a page with everything they bought. You can also Redeliver any sale, or Redeliver everything to a customer. Gift cards and delivered gacha prizes are the exception: they are never sent again.
Can I give a product away for free?
Yes. Mark it Free (Get Free on the vendor) on its sheet: the vendor shows Get Free instead of Pay. Good for FREE versions and demos. To give a product to one person, use Send to someone on the product sheet. See Products.
Can I put my store on sale?
Yes, on every plan. More → Discounts: the whole store, some products or everything but a few, with an end date if you want. Vendors change their price on their own and go back to normal at the end. See Discounts.
Can members of my group pay less?
Yes. Turn on Group discount on a product or a variation group: customers wearing your SL group tag see a second, lower price on Pay. See SL Group Discount.
Can I charge for an event or a membership?
Yes, with Payment requests PRO: put one on any vendor, run it in rounds (October, November…) with an amount and a deadline, and see who paid each round.
How do I know when I sell something?
The panel shows sales live. In Second Life, turn on the purchase confirmation by IM (it starts on). You can also get every sale in a Discord channel.
Can I make a test sale without paying?
No. There is no test mode: a sale is a real payment. Use a cheap product (or set one to L$ 1 while testing). To check a delivery without paying, use Send to someone on the product sheet and send it to yourself.
Does Refund send the L$ back?
No. Refund records the refund in Fasty and undoes points, gift card balance, coupon uses and unpaid shares. Send the L$ back yourself, for example with Send L$ in the panel. Gift card sales and gacha plays can't be refunded.
Can I see the odds of a gacha machine?
Anyone can: touching the machine gives a link to its public page with the odds of every item, and every play has a proof. See Gacha Overview.
Do gacha plays earn loyalty points?
No. Gacha has its own reward system: tokens and pity.
Can I use the panel on my phone?
Yes. The panel works on phones: sign in with your Second Life username and password.
Which languages does the panel speak?
English, Português and Español (Settings → Language and theme). Everything your customers see in Second Life is in English.
Who do I ask for help?
Message Prootoxy Resident in Second Life.
