Setting Up a Machine PRO
Step by step
Rez a machine. The quickest way is the ready-made Capsule Machine from the kit. Or use any object of your own.
Put the
Fasty Gachascript in the root prim. (The Capsule Machine comes without it, so you drop it in yourself.)Allow debit permission when it asks. Same reason as vendors: it pays profit shares of each play.
Pick the collection. The machine shows up in Catalog → Gacha within seconds. Choose its Collection from the list. The machine updates right away.
A machine only takes payments when…
it has a collection, the collection is active (not paused), it has at least one item, and your store is Pro. The machine card warns you when one of these is missing.
The touch menu
Anyone who touches the machine (you included) gets, in chat, the price, how to play and a link to the machine's public page with the prizes and the odds. If the machine has no collection yet, visitors read "This machine isn't open yet. Come back soon!"
You, the owner, also get a menu that says what the machine is playing ("Now playing: Neon Dreams · L$50 per play"), or what is missing, and how many plays are still being drawn:

Playing
Players right-click → Pay. One play at a time: while a play animates, the Pay option disappears and comes back when the play is over. Payments are queued in the order they came, so the animation never delays or changes a draw.
When the animation ends, the player gets their prize and, in chat, the link to the proof. The chat never spoils the surprise: the message comes only after the animation.
With purchase confirmation by IM on, you get an IM for each play, with the prize.
Copies and moving machines
Like vendors: a copied machine, or one rezzed again from inventory, pairs on its own and keeps its collection.
Several machines, one collection
You can point many machines at the same collection (for example, one per region). Changing the collection updates all of them. Each machine has its own chain of secrets for the proof.
