The Script Kit
The kit is small on purpose: one script per object. You put it in, the object connects to your store by itself, and from then on you manage everything in the panel.
For your store
| Script | Goes in | Asks for | What it does |
|---|---|---|---|
| Fasty Hub | Any prim in your store | Nothing | Holds your product items and gives them to your customers. Touch menu (owner only): Open panel, Sync. |
| Fasty Vendor | The root prim of your vendor board | Debit permission | Shows one product and takes payments. Handles gifts, gift cards, coupons, loyalty points, free items, the group discount and payment requests. Sends events your own scripts can react to. |
| Fasty Redelivery Terminal | Any prim you like (a sign, a kiosk) | Nothing | Customers touch it and get a private link to all their purchases, where they can get any item again. See Redelivery Terminal. |
For gacha machines PRO
| Script | Goes in | Asks for | What it does |
|---|---|---|---|
| Fasty Gacha | The root prim of the machine | Debit permission | The machine's brain: takes the payment, asks Fasty for a fair draw and has your hub deliver the prize. |
| Fasty Gacha Effect (example) | Any prim of the machine | Nothing | A sample "style" script that describes each play in your chat. Use it to test, or as a starting point for your own animation. |
| Fasty Gacha Capsule (effect) | Inside the ready-made Capsule Machine | Nothing | The animation of the Capsule Machine: crank, falling capsule, sounds and screen. |
Style scripts only animate. They never talk to the server and never touch money, so a broken style can never change a result or lose a prize. More in Make Your Own Style.
What comes in the kit
- Store:
Fasty Hub,Fasty VendorandFasty Redelivery Terminal. - Gacha:
Fasty Gacha, the example effect, and the Capsule Machine (the ready machine with its effect script, sounds and materials). - A READ ME notecard with a short guide.
Getting it: press Get the kit on the welcome screen of the panel, or in the menu under your picture. It is delivered to your Second Life inventory like any purchase, as soon as you are online, with a message telling you it arrived. If you lose it, you can ask again after a few minutes.
The kit comes in an unpacker box. While they sit in the box (its description has !ignore), the scripts stay completely still: no menu, no connection, no permission request. They start the moment you drop them into your own object.
Simple rules
One Fasty script per object. A hub has one
Fasty Hub, a vendor has oneFasty Vendor. Two vendor scripts in the same object would answer every payment twice.Replacing a script? Open the object and overwrite it. Delete the old script and drop the new one in the same place. The object stays the same object in your panel, with the same product and settings.
Copying and re-rezzing is fine. A vendor you copy, or take back to inventory and rez again, connects again on its own and keeps the product it was selling. A gacha machine keeps its collection.
Moving from another vendor system? Drop the
Fasty Vendorscript into the old vendor's root prim. If the old script has "casper" in its name, Fasty removes it for you and tells you in chat. For other systems, delete the old script yourself.Setting up vendors for someone else? Give them the scripts without Modify permission.
