Coupons PRO
Discount codes that customers type at the vendor. Great for openings, events, bloggers and loyal customers.

Create a coupon
Press New coupon (one code) or Make a batch (many single-use codes).

| Setting | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Discount | A percentage (1–100%) or a fixed amount in L$. 100% = freebie: the item is free right away, nothing to pay. |
| Code | What the customer types: letters, numbers, - or _ (3 to 24). Press Generate for a random one. It can't change after the first use. |
| Internal name | Only you see it (October event). |
| When it works | Start and end dates, or no date. |
| Total uses | How many times it can be used in all. |
| Per customer | How many times each avatar can use it (default 1). |
| Minimum purchase | Only works on products from this price up. |
| Where it works | Whole store, all except some, or only chosen products and groups. |
| Only for these people | A personal coupon: only they can use it. Tick Send the code by IM in SL to deliver it. |
Batches for bloggers and events
Make a batch creates N codes (up to 500) like BLOG-X7K2QM, each usable once. Open the coupon to copy the free codes or download a CSV, and see who used each one.
How customers use a coupon
At the vendor: touch → Coupon → type the code. (The button appears when your store has a live coupon.)
- The code works: the vendor is reserved for them for 60 seconds, and Pay shows the discounted price.
- Freebie: the item is sent right away, nothing to pay.
- They also have a gift card: they get the wallet link with the coupon already applied, and can pay the rest with cards or L$.
- The code doesn't work: they get the reason, in private: wrong code, paused, not started, expired, someone else's coupon, not valid for this item, below the minimum, used up, already used.
To stop guessing, an avatar can try at most 5 wrong codes every 10 minutes.
Rules worth knowing
- One coupon per purchase.
- During a sale, the coupon comes off the sale price, and the minimum purchase compares with it.
- A coupon doesn't add up with the group price, and doesn't work on payment requests.
- Coupons don't work on gift cards, and can't be combined with the Gift menu.
- An open reservation counts as a use: with 1 use left, two people can't both get it. If the reservation runs out, the use comes back.
- A refund gives the use back.
- Revenue, points and profit shares count only the L$ that came in.
In Sales and on receipts
Sales show "SUMMER20 −L$ 20" under the payment, and the With coupon filter lists only those sales. The customer's receipt shows Price, Coupon SUMMER20 −L$ 20 and the Total paid.
On a customer page, the Coupons section lists their personal coupons, and Give a coupon creates one for them already filled in.
